Use of the Service

Accounts

User Content
You retain ownership of content you create or upload to Acadesys, including notes, papers, sources, study materials, and assignments. You grant Lauritzen Systems the limited rights necessary to host, process, and display that content in order to operate the service.
AI Features
Some paid plans include AI-powered features. These features are intended to assist users, not guarantee correctness, academic outcomes, or institutional compliance. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before relying on it.
Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans may be billed on a recurring basis unless canceled. Pricing currently includes Plus at $4.99 per month and Pro at $9.99 per month, unless otherwise stated inside the product. Billing may be processed through third-party providers.
You are responsible for providing valid payment information for paid plans. We may suspend or downgrade paid access if payment fails or a subscription ends.
Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Acadesys at any time. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Intellectual Property
Acadesys, its branding, site design, and related materials are owned by Lauritzen Systems except where otherwise noted. You may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit the service beyond what is permitted by law and these Terms.
Disclaimers
Acadesys is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every academic or institutional requirement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lauritzen Systems will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Acadesys if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use creates legal, security, or operational risk.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Acadesys after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
